A series of three A4 21 × 29.7 cm (8.27 in × 11.7 in) Epson UltraChrome® inkjet prints on Hahnemühle Museum Etching 350 gsm archival paper. Edition: 50 each. Exhibited at Kasia Michalski Gallery during The Drawers vol. 2 group exhibition in September 2016.
The prints were conceived after the financial crisis of 2008 and reference a quote by Larry Summers, the top economic adviser in the Obama administration, who once mocked finance professors (who had failed to predict the collapse of the housing market bubble) with a parable about “ketchup economists” who “have shown that two-quart bottles of ketchup invariably sell for exactly twice as much as one-quart bottles of ketchup,” and thus concluded that the ketchup market is perfectly efficient.
